Restaurant Kaffistova at Best Western Hotell Hordaheimen offers guests traditional homely fare and an extensive a la carte menu. For generations, Kaffistova has been serving guests and Bergensians a whole range of traditional dishes such as Norwgian-style rissoles (kjøttkaker), potato dumplings ( raspeball) with salted meat, clipfish( dried and salted cod), delicious stews and Sunday roasts.

From January 2011 restaurant Kaffistova is no longer open for the public, we do however offer both lunch and dinner for groups over 15 persons. The meals are based on our traditional recipies.

An old Norwegian proverb begins: " Food is half one`s needs.. " In Kaffistova we take this proverb seriously and serve good olde-fashioned homely food just as mum used to make it. Food that tastes good, satisfied and stirs good memories.

In addition to offering traditional Norwegian fare we also have an attractive a la carte menu with an internaational flavour.

For conference guests we have a varied lunch menu and homemade pastries with coffee or tea. Otherwise, Kaffistova is also fully licensed.
